Trip highlights

Chepang village tour is newly developed for tourism which is just 80 km away from Kathmandu. Chepang culture is one of the most unique and ethnic culture in Nepal. They have their own language, leading a nomadic life and their primary lifestyle, hunting foraging for wild roots and fishing and traditional farming near jungles.

This is a newly developed Trekking trail, right in the heart of Chitwan. This trek offers the unique opportunity to interact with Chepangs. Chepangs speak their own distinct language, lead a nomadic life, and hunt, forage, and fish for survival. The Chepangs have a rich cultural heritage which is shown through songs, dances and beautiful handicrafts. They also produce their own fantastic tasting wine and honey.

While staying in their villages, we will have the opportunity to meet and learn from A Praja Pande (faith healer). The trek goes through lush jungles and remote villages where very few tourists have gone before. Chitwan which literally means heart of the jungle is teaming with wildlife and adventure.

All our trips are tailor made trips with personalized services. Please let us know the number of participants in your group, your choice of hotels and amendments in our itinerary, if any, so that we can quote you the price.
