Peak climbing in the Nepal Himalayas is a life time dream for many mountain climbers. Climbing in Nepal became popular after the first ascent on Mount Everest on 1953. Since 1978, the NMA has been issuing permit for small-scale attempts on 18 peaks that are known as "Trekking Peaks". Getting a permit for peak climbing is much easier and cheaper than expedition permits The climbing treks will be led by our Sherpa Sardars, many of whom have climbed Mt Everest and other Himalayan Peaks
Most mountains for peak climbing can be climbed by first timers with good health and basic climbing skills, while some peaks which require technical climbing skills and only professional climbers should climb them. If you are interested in peak climbing, below are some of the itineraries, or alternatively we can be in contact so you may personally tailor your own itinerary.
These are the peaks of between 5500 and 6500 meters, that normally involve ascent over snow and ice terrain. Most climbs are not particularly technical and can be managed by any reasonably fit person, and the feeling of standing on top of your own Himalayan peak is second to none.
If there is something else you have in your mind, and don't find it here please don't hesitate to write us. We will do all that is possible to make your dream of a wonderful and memorable holiday in Nepal come true.
