Trekking in Everest Region of Nepal

The Everest (Solukhumbu) region of Nepal is amongst the most dramatic and picturesque regions in the Himalayas. The famous Sherpa people, whose lives in the shade of Mt. Everest and are interwoven with the teachings of Buddhism, are the main inhabitants of this region. They are very generous and spiritual people with a colorful lifestyle and our trek allows us to spend time with them in their homeland. 

The Sagarmatha National Park (SNP) is home to the red panda, snow leopard, musk deer,  Himalayan Tahr, marten, Himalayan mouse hare (Pika), over 118 species of bird, pine, hemlock, while fir, juniper, birch, rhododendron, scrub and alpine plants. For its superlative natural characteristics, UNESCO listed SNP as a World Heritage Site in 1979. The Thame, Khumjung, Namche, Tyangboche  are  popular for Sherpa culture while Phortse is famous for wildlife viewing. There are some high adventurous passes to cross such as Chola pass, Renjola pass, Tashi lapha pass, Amphu lapcha pass, and Serpinicool pass.

There are many different climbing and expdition tours throughout the region witht he most common being Kalapattar, Gokyo and Everest Basecamp. The scenery offers beautiful open views of magnificent mountains such as Kongde, Kusum kangru, Thamaserku, Amadablam, Baruntse, Makalu, Everest, Lotse, Choletse, Lhotsesar, Nuptse, Choyu, and Pumori.
